Fine Art of Persuasion - Commercials
Commercials are designed like TV shows with specific audiences in mind. Good commercials convey a positive MESSAGE about a product or service as well as entertain us. The producers want us to remember their product so they incorporate humor, catchy slogans or jingles or even famous Messengers. Good Commercials also have a strong spokesperson –someone who we feel that we can count on. In every good commercial we see product placement – we can see the product being advertised DOING what we want it to do… of course consider the editing, sometimes the commercials show us things they SAY the product can do, but really can’t.
