Soft News
Soft news is defined as information that is primarily entertaining or personally useful. Although the term 'soft news' was originally synonymous with feature stories placed in newspapers or television newscasts for human interest, the concept expanded to include a wide range of media outlets that present more personality-centered stories. Broadcast students created these 'quick' stories in 1 80 minute block.
