In this month’s episode, we focused on what is Newsworthy. We discovered that News is designed to report and spread knowledge on a subject that is currently affecting people. It’s What Is Happening Now, news that people want to know about whether it's Global, National, Local, Political or of general interest. There are 5 top categories Producers use to determine if an item is newsworthy. They are Trends, Timeliness, Relevance, Prominence, and Human Interest. This month we investigated topics in all categories and found some interesting and ridiculous news.
