Current Events
In this month’s episode, we focused on current events. A current event is something happening right now, that affects a specific group or society at large. These issues are often controversial, with strong opinions on all sides. A current issue doesn't necessarily mean that the question is new. Some topics have been discussed in Society for decades.
The world around us is changing each and every day and those decisions greatly affect our lives. It is important for us to be aware of the events that are going on around us locally and nationally. This month we focused on things like the College Process, Day Light Savings time, all things Thanksgiving, WHS Winter Sports Previews, and the Groundbreaking ceremony for the new turf field. Anchored by Chase Sorby '24 and Michael Pagan '24. Contributing reporters Broadcast 2: Danny Alvarez '23, Ryan Dierssen '23, Rocco Dominguez '23, Julie Lomurno '23, Lena Palushaj '23, Elise Stuetz '23, Dean Williams.
