Profile Interviews
This month we focused on Profile Interviews. A profile is a portrait of a person in words and video, the best profiles capture the character, spirit and style of their subjects. They delve beneath the surface to look at what motivates, excites, and what makes the interviewee interesting. Good profiles get into the heart of the person and find out what makes them tick. Profiles must have an angle, a primary theme that is introduced in the beginning and it should be explored and returned to at the end of the interview revealing that persons character, spirit and style. Good profiles - show, instead of tell.
