Following the recent shootings at a yoga studio in Tallahassee, Florida, Butler High School in North Carolina, and Thousand Oaks Los Angeles. Alice Warford '20, John Boccardi '20, and Nick Veltri '19 went out to find out how the students and faculty feel about gun control and what should be done to stop these shootings.

On July 13, the state Health Department issued a report recommending legalization of marijuana, and Gov. Cuomo suggested that it was not a question of if, but when legalization would happen in New York. Medical marijuana became legal in New York in 2016, and although the law has expanded over time. Joe Ragusa '20, and Miguel Catarino '19 wanted to find out what Westlake High School students thought of the issue.
